Mount Hellanion Oros and the Elaionas Valley
View from the road from Marathonas beach to Pachia Rachi westwards into the valley of Eleonas, an uninhabited plateau on the island of Aegina. The valley here is covered with rocks and boulders and is home to an ancient olive grove. The 532 metre high mountain Hellanion Oros dominates the background. The path on the other side of the valley leads directly from Marathonas beach to the valley of Eleonas.
